We tested Snowmobile /Tatra V 855/

On the 27th February we tested Snowmobile that is making for Lane Motor Muzeum in Nashville, in the presence c. 30 important guests including Mr. Jeff Lane and his wife Susan.
Testing was pass successful.
Everyone who attendanted was excited.

Information:

This snowmobile was steered by two pairs of skis using the bigger steering wheel.
Propulsion was by pusher propoller and mechanical drum with cardan drive shaft.
The drum was also used a brake.
Hand brakes acted on the rear skis.

History:

It was made only one prototype in 1942 on order for German army. Technical documentations were disappear in Nazi´s archives.
First test was made by Tatra factory.
